GM states the Wi-Fi ® network security notification has occurred in "older vehicle models" when the customer tries to connect to their vehicle's 4G LTE Wi-Fi ® Hotspot and receive a "'weak security' message next to their vehicle's Wi-Fi ® network name on their device . . . Nevertheless, customers are still able to connect to a Wi-Fi ® Hotspot in a secure manner in their vehicle." The iOS 14 update should simply eliminate the message that customers have been seeing next to the network name on their device. We encourage all customers to update their Apple ® iPhone ® device to at least the iOS 14 operating system.
