The service advisor got to me right away and was very professional yet friendly and wrote the order up and on my way in a courtesy car. The driver was very nice and professional and got me safely home. They delivered my truck to my house sooner than I expected (that is a good thing) and were also very professional and friendly. All went well, however they found a leak near my oil coolant connection. They wanted to charge me $ 2600 to work on that. This car is only five years old and should not require that type of service, that upset me and they did not give me the courtesy to if that was still warranty. Gives me apprehension of returning for future service.

Took truck in for damage from hitting a dog. Truck looked great when i picked it up. Went down the road and the mirrors on both sides did not work, park assist was blinking rapidlyl on dash, and RH blinker was pulsing fast. Took back to dealer immediately Showed person what was wrong and they said they would take care of the problem. Called back 3 days later and they had fixed the park assist, by plugging connector in and out, Repaired RH blinker by replacing bulb, but mirrors still did not work, Said they were sending it to the service department. Called back 4 days later and truck was still sitting and had not been looked at yet. Decided to come and pickup truck and fix myself. Found wire in door panel had been cut, Connector X505 pin 37 had been cut at connector. Repaired and put together in 1 hr. Have been a mechenic for 40 years. That should have been fixed easily.

The service rep was clear, concise, and friendly. Actually, she was pretty awesome! The job didn't take long at all. I received the call and picked up my vehicle. She gave me a rundown of the paperwork and brought my truck out to me. I know this review it only got 4 out of 5 stars, but that's b/c when I hit about 55mph and faster, my truck shakes violently. I feel it mostly in my front driver side tire. I just won't take the highway until after I can take it in on Saturday.

I have been going to Cable Dahmer since I moved to Topeka. I know dealers can at times cost more but I consider them SME's. I had a service and rotation done. On the paperwork it showed my right front tire as red and the others green. Since these tire were bought at the same time I asked the tech and the answer was it is lower than 3/32. I looked and they did and saw nothing like that. Also once they rotated the tires, they could not get the system to relearn so my light was on. During the conversation they told me assuming I knew what that meant so when I got in the truck I saw the light on and went and asked. I was told that they explained it to me but it was not as well as it should have been. Then I was told the part was on back order and it would take several weeks to get it in. I understand this may not seem like a lot but to me it's small thing's that can make an experience not the best. I will continue to bring my truck there but wanted you to know there are some opportunities that could be addressed.

I brought my GMC Sierra Denali in to have the back up camera repaired. When I purchased a vehicle New, I also purchased a bumper-to-bumper warranty from the dealership. I was told right off the bat of a $220 diagnostic fee. I agreed to that later that afternoon I was called and told they wanted three more hours of diagnostics for a total of $880 I was in sent a video that said my cabin air filter. My engine air filter needed to be replaced which only had 3000 miles on them in addition to that they recommended a $357 fuel system treatment. Later I was told that even with my warranty, they were going to charge a difference of $500 for the labor. I refuse the service. there was a phone call later stating they hadn’t done any work so there would be no charge to come pick up my vehicle and take it elsewhere when I picked up the vehicle. The glove box door was on the floor. The cabin air filter was on the seat and papers from inside my glove box were all over the floor. Ultimately, I drove my truck an hour away to the dealership where I bought it who honored the warranty and charge me $100 deductible total. Their estimate was over $700 less.

Great service! However you used to wash my car rotate tires and fill my fluids as well as change my oil filter and oil. Now all I get is an oil change and you raised the price. I also used to belong to your VIP club and I would get discounts on my service but apparently that's no longer a thing. I get inflation is killing profit but almost 90 dollars for an oil change and I get nothing extra is kinda steep. Your service department is outstanding by the way.

Most of the encounter was appropriate and done properly and professionally; HOWEVER for the second time in a row the one thing I asked to be done was NOT done and it was promised as a routine part of the tire rotation. I simply but expressly asked for the tire pressures to be adjusted to 35 pounds as recommended as I knew one was at 44pounds . I have had bilateral knee replacements and a back fusion and at 77 years of age it is difficult for me to do this. I checked the pressures on my way home and was NOT happy when I discovered they had indeed rotated the tires but did NOT adjust the pressures.

Was told parts for recall where on site and my recall would be taken care of. I specifically asked for this because I drive from Emporia. This is the second time I have been to this dealership and both times recalls were not fixed. Instead I waited three hours to get an oil change. I could get this done in Emporia and wait an hour. I’ve spent a total of 7 hours now at this dealership and have had two oil changes and 1 tire rotation. 4 recalls and only 1 fixed. I will not be coming back EVER again except to get the recalls fixed.

Biggest problem is I understand the cost of credit cards but came prepared to use debit card debit card was declined, then used my credit card and was charged 68 extra dollar, left the the dealer ship, went to bank, Core First, to find out what the problem was, and they said no reason card should have been refused! So at this time I am not happy with Cable Dahmer nor Core First Bank! Doubt I will be back, for any reason.

Empty vehicles were blocking every service lane and so I had to wait for someone to move a vehicle before I could get to a service desk since no service advisor came to me in my car. Another person walked to my service advisor and was helped out of turn. When I mentioned that to Terrance he replied in a rude and disrespectful manner. Service was faster this time, as last time I had my oil changed at the dealership with an appointment, it took three hours. I was charged for a tire rotation, that I was not asked if I wanted and I just got new tires else where and they would have been rotated free. That was an extra amount that I had not planned on. Widows seem to be a target for things that are not needed, but add to your total. I was not happy when I read the ticket and saw why the bill was so high. I even had a birthday coupon from you. It seems that the person who owns the vehicle should be consulted before the service is performed and added to the service ticket. In the future, I may think twice before using your service.

I told the first person I talked to I wanted 3 things: #1-an oil change, #2-a complete 'physical' as the car was going to Florida (4k miles est.), and #3-the driver side lock/unlock button fixed. #3 was never mentioned again by anyone (including myself) and was lost in the myriad of repairs caused by #2. I arrived having never been to a dealership for automotive work before. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and knew their jobs well. Terrance W. helped me get my car checked out, via test drive. I was shuttled to my house by a very nice lady. Terrance kept me up- to- date on what was wrong with my car and helped me with a link to get finance for payments, as I could not pay for my car to be fixed all at once. I was then shuttled back to the dealership by the same wonderful lady. Where Terrance helped me check out and went to get my car for me. He suggested I take my car on a short test drive to see if all was well, I did and it was and has been since I left. Altogether, I very pleasant experience that I did not expect. I expected much more hassle and to be some what majorly unconvinced by the price of the work I knew my car was going to need. However none of my expectations were met. Instead I had a lovely experience and would consider myself lucky, if another unlucky incident occurs, to be able to deal with anyone at this dealership again. Thank you all ver, y very much!!

I paid over $200 for my car to be diagnosed and my car still has the same alert on my dashboard and now you’re telling me I have a new problem. I’m not sure why I even had my car hooked up to the diagnostic thing if you can’t even tell me what’s wrong with my car. You said that it can’t always pick up things if it doesn’t intermittently. My dashboard has said the same things for six months so I guess I paid $200 for nothing.

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and professional. They made a strong effort to give us a good experience. We recommend two things that could be improved. 1. They charged our EV to 100%. It is our understanding that EVs should be charged to only 80% except right before a long trip, because leaving an EV at 100% for a significant period of time is harmful to the battery. Please let everyone at your dealership know this. 2. We special-ordered our car, and the dealership was never able to give us even a rough idea of when it would arrive, until it actually arrived. It seems that a dealership should be able to determine which cars are on their way to the dealership before they actually arrive.

The service provided was simply adequate. The job was to remove and replace the entire dashboard. When I picked up the car the dash was covered in dust, except for 2 handprints. The trim on the exterior of the windshield was not put back correctly. The car sat while the mechanic went on vacation. They deserve a vacation, but this job should have been assigned to someone else or had someone fill in while the mechanic was absent. I was told I would be contacted daily even if nothing had changed, just keep communication open. I was not involved in the service advisor's communication with my insurance company. Because of this, I believe my insurance did not pay the full amount they should have. All in all, the work seems to be sufficient just not of the quality I expected.

Service procedure in general went well - great people to work with ... however, somewhere during the maintenance test drive and the vehicle delivery - the right rear tire picked up a nail in the tread / tire wall area ... I started receiving OnStar alerts before I was notified by the dealership it was ready for delivery ... I would have expected the dealership to notice something like that, and resolve the issue - instead, my vehicle was delivered with 15 psi in the left rear ... the set of tires had 30,000 miles, and with the location of the nail, I had to replace the entire set of tires at my own expense

I was traveling cross-country with my family of 5 when the check engine light came on in my 2022 Yukon. We were very fortunate to have it happen so close to Cable Dahmer in Topeka, Kansas. I was able to schedule a service appointment online and have the car in first thing the next morning. When I pulled up and saw how large their service department is I knew I was at the right place. Check in was smooth and I explained the situation, while I was in the waiting area they had people regularly coming back to see how long each person had been waiting. When my turn was called they explained the part that was broke and told me they didn't have in stock, but they ordered it overnight from 2 locations just in case to get me back on the road. They set me up in a wonderful rental car so my family and I could still get around. The part was delivered the next day as promised and they got me back on the road. Its never a great feeling to encounter car trouble while on a road trip, but I was very fortunate to be close to this dealer. I called regarding an issue with my car not starting on a Friday and was given an appointment to have it checked the next day. Everything went smoothly and I waited while the problem was evaluated and a new battery was installed. It wasn't cheap but repairs on my Chevy Equinox have proven to be more difficult (and so more costly) because of the way the engine is laid out. Apparently, it is hard to access parts. Wish I would have known that before I purchased the vehicle. Anyway, the repair was made and the issue seems to be resolved although I've only driven it a couple of days since the repair was made. the customer service person was friendly and knowledgeable.

I made an appointment ahead of time to bring my vehicle in and wait while brake pads were put on I had another emergency to take care of so I dropped my vehicle off tonight before so it could be done in the morning and then I was to leave on vacation go pick up my camper, etc. etc. etc. It’s getting close to noon and nobody has called me and I checked into my vehicle and they haven’t even started on it Then I was told oh that wasn’t a real appointment that was just a check in time So what I was supposed to wait there all day until they put brake pads on? This person went to lunch and that person went to lunch. They didn’t even start on my vehicle until 2:30 in the afternoon. Then I couldn’t get to pick my vehicle up until after they closed $500+ later As soon as I started driving my vehicle, the brakes were squealing and screeching. Every time I would come to a stop it almost even feels like it’s slowing down my back end, rear brakes were put on So unfortunately, no one was there to talk to. I left for my vacation with squealing and squeaking breaks the whole time. My mother is now in hospice and I can’t afford to be without my vehicle for very long. I want this matter fixed, and if it caused any more damage to my truck, I expect Chevy auto shop to pay for it I have owned many vehicles in my life. I’ve had many break jobs done. I’ve never had this happen before this is the worst brake job experience I’ve ever had in all my 40+years of having a vehicle.

Also, in order for me to get a loaner vehicle, I had to put $100 deposit down which was taken immediately. You’re greatest asset is your staff and especially James Fager he has serviced me and my company trucks since 2004. But you need to completely change your on line schedule system. It sucks, I have to come in a day or so early so I can get James as my service advisor he’s not on the list. The main reason I brought my new truck was so I could get James to advise me. But if that’s what I have to do so James gets credit for it so be i. It’s amazing that such a big dealership doesn’t value customer relationship. Way to screw up such a simple concept.

Yesterday I had an alarm light come on, and I called Cable Dahmer so I could speak with Terence. He recommended that I bring my vehicle in so he could check the alarm. I really appreciate and value the short video sent to me going over the vehicle by the technician. Your courtesy vehicle program is wonderful as well. When I brought my GMC Sierra AT4 in for the safety recall and oil change, Terence Wrightsman started me out by explaining what procedures mechanics would be doing to check the safety recall on my truck. I appreciated the video after the inspection was completed, and Terence also clarified the service done on my vehicle when I picked it up. On a side note, Amanda Terwillinger, was also helpful in getting me started when I dropped off my vehicle until Terence was able to connect with me. Usually, my husband and I work through Terence, but Amanda also was accessible in getting my vehicle checked in, so my time was well spent. my advisor James Fager was very helpful and the video, by my mechanic, was good. After reading my multipoint I was bothered. Items checked in red were #4, #16, #21, #22. I spent much of the day under the truck looking for the leaks and wear that are associated with these four items. I didn't find anything wrong that wasn't covered by James's initial advisement. I was also told that the estimate was for an hour and a half, I was there for two hours forty-six minutes. Not happy.

The salesman we worked with Jaryl was a great guy, the sales manager on the other hand was absolutely terrible, and we caught him in several lies. Fortunately Patrick was able to work everything out and we were able to complete the purchase. We were told by the sales manager that if we wanted the vehicle we were interested in we would have to buy it today because if we didn’t it would be going to a fleet sale tomorrow. Then he told the salesman to tell us that the vehicle already had the protective wrap installed and we would have to pay the extra $3995.00 for that option to complete the purchase, and we would have to schedule a time to have it brought back in to have it “refreshed”. Upon inspection of the vehicle it was discovered that the protective wrap was not installed and had never been installed. I was very disappointed in that I really believed that dealerships had moved on from using underhanded sales tactics. In our previous purchases (different dealers) everything was completely above board.

0700 hour appointment made to have a new key programmed. I asked how long it would take because I needed to be at work at 0900 hrs. An hour. At 0850 hrs, I was still waiting. Then, I was told the shop guys don't come in until til 0730 hrs. At 0900 hrs I was finally done. I wish more communication had been given so I might have scheduled this on my day off.

I had 7:15 am appointment. I have to get up at 4 to do chores so I can get there. You could not honor that time. So had to leave the truck. Went back at 12:00 the next day and it was still not even in the shop, so I took it home without being serviced. It's 45 miles one way to Topeka. 135 miles for nothing. Not happy!

Amanda was very helpful when I checked my truck in for an oil change, a problem with the back-up sensor and any necessary service. Some items were found, and some parts had to be ordered, but it took several days to get the job finished. That was the only issue. I'd rather have them take their time than do a less that satisfactory job. I took my Avalanche in on 1/6/26 and got it back on 1/12.
